An electrical and electronic waste (WEEE) collection campaign will take place in Târgu Mureș from 7 to 29 November 2026.

Dedicated containers will be placed temporarily at the designated collection points. Before dropping off waste, please check the location and collection dates for each point.

Only electrical and electronic waste may be dropped off during this campaign. Depositing bulky waste, textiles or hazardous waste is prohibited. These types of waste will not be collected or transported. Failure to comply with the disposal rules may result in penalties imposed by the Local Police under the applicable legislation.

Waste must be placed only in the dedicated containers, during the collection period specified for each point. Leaving waste beside the containers, at other locations or after the collection period has ended is prohibited.

Permanent voluntary drop-off collection point

In addition to the temporary campaign collection points, you can drop off electrical and electronic waste and portable batteries and accumulators at the permanent voluntary drop-off collection point provided by Târgu Mureș City Hall at 24 Depozitelor Street. It is open Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:00.
